Dr Katy Duncan is the recipient of the 2026 Stephen Herbert Award given by the Bill Douglas Cinema Museum. A postdoctoral fellow at The Royal Institution, she is a historian with an interest in scientific instruments, and will be researching magic mirrors in Stephen’s collection held at the Museum.
